Project #StrongerTogether

Update 04/07/2020:

To alleviate the extreme shortage of personal protective equipment for healthcare professionals and public service workers, Silicon Valley Chinese Association Foundation has successfully secured the first batch of masks including N95 respirators! More shipments are coming in.

On Tuesday 4/7, we have distributed 2000 masks at 3 locations in City of Sunnyvale to our senior members of the community, and we also delivered more than 1000 masks to the doors of our seniors after that. We want everyone in the community to be SAFE!

We welcome our supporters to donate toward the purchasing of more PPE. These equipment will go to healthcare providers, first responders, postal workers as well as senior citizens to protect them from coronavirus.

Update 12/29/2020:

Up to date, we have procured 75,120 masks, donated 48,645, and there are 26,475 available for donation.

Thank you for the continued support for this project. As the manufacturing of PPE in the USA is picking up, we will no longer purchase new masks from today. Yet we will continue our commitment to support our first responders, medical workers, care givers and senior members of the communities.

In the continuation of Project #StrongerTogether, we will start to order meals for local hospital workers, in appreciation of their contribution and sacrifice protecting our communities in this pandemic.
